Area-11: The Stables
The stables for Lazy Cockatrice permanently serve as the residence for the Road Wardens' two horses, trio of cows who provide milk for the inn, and the two horses belonging to the Ardins. On top of that, pack and coach animals for the guests are also kept here, with room for nearly a score of horses in a pinch.
Iris Ardin's nephew, Hugh Dorvan, a quiet, earnest young man who refuses to drink or carouse serves as a groom here. He lives in the dormitory on the third floor of the inn but tends to sleep in the barn on warm nights. Hugh prefers animals to people.
